I think the library is important to the community because: It offers equal opportunity to all for access to information, great services and of course books, and other media.

I was inspired to become a member of the board because: I love libraries, and I want to make a positive impact on my community.

My favorite way to use the library is: I love to read, so I check out books and ebooks.

My favorite book is: My favorite book changes. I get hooked on an author and like to read all their books. I love Alice Hoffman and Alice Munro.

Interests/Hobbies: Reading, of course. Rehabbing my house, gardening, music.

Education/Degrees: I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Dayton and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University.

Profession: I am the Director of Technical Support and Training for Stenograph, a company that makes the machines and software that Court Reporters use. I have also worked at libraries and been a teacher.

Family: I have a wonderful husband.
