I think the library is important to the community because: It's the binding that holds the community together by offering many valuable resources for all ages. It's a gathering place where people can meet to do research and collaborate on projects.
I was inspired to become a member of the board because: I believe that everyone has an obligation to give back to their community where they can. I also want to help the library embrace new technology to provide a more broad range of resources for the community.
My favorite way to use the library is: When my children were younger, I enjoyed bringing them to the library for events to inspire their love of reading. Now we appreciate the library's many resources for research, finding good books, movies and download music.
My favorite book is: I don't have a favorite book but I enjoy reading books by Nicholas Sparks and Danielle Steele.
