As Best I Can
Imagine yourself in an accident where, because of serious and extreme injuries, you are given a less than 10% chance of surviving even one night. Do you have the physical strength? Do you have the personal inner strength, or will power?
Carpentersville resident David Farber, a man in the prime of his life at the age of 28, found himself in those exact circumstances after a devastating motorcycle accident. David not only survived but continues to thrive as a wildlife photographer more than 3 decades later. Paralyzed from the neck down except for the use of his right arm, David travels across the USA and other countries in search of new subjects for his camera.
David is not only a photographer, but an author as well. To find out the whole amazing story in detail, order David's book As Best I Can (or find it on the library’s shelves!). He also speaks at schools and organizations regarding his life as a triplegic.
